Inner Signal is transparent by design.

I do not want a self-hypnosis or inner-child app to feel like a black box. If a tool is guiding people through induction, inner listening, body signals, protector work, or reparenting prompts, users should be able to inspect the logic rather than being asked to trust mysterious hidden suggestions.

That is why the preview app source is visible.

You can read it. You can inspect how the session is structured. You can see the safety boundaries, the starter prompts, the mode toggle, and the way the app responds when someone feels fake, blank, skeptical, or wants to go deeper.

That transparency is part of the safety model.

License

Unless otherwise noted, the Inner Signal preview app source code is released under the:

PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0

That means you may use, copy, study, modify, and share the software for noncommercial purposes, provided you keep the required copyright and license notices with it.

This is a source-available noncommercial license.

It is not the same thing as public domain, and it is not the same thing as unrestricted open source.

What you can do

You are welcome to use the code for noncommercial purposes such as:

• personal study
• private practice
• research
• testing
• education
• hobby projects
• noncommercial experiments
• reviewing the safety logic
• adapting the structure for your own noncommercial learning or practice

You can also use the visible source to understand how the app works before deciding whether to trust it.

That is the point.

What you cannot do without permission

You may not use Inner Signal source code, session logic, scripts, or substantially similar adapted versions for commercial purposes without permission.

That includes, for example:

• selling it as an app
• putting it behind your own paid subscription
• using it as part of a paid coaching, therapy, hypnosis, or wellness product
• reselling the code or app
• using it in a commercial SaaS product
• copying the source into a competing paid product
• presenting Inner Signal as your own commercial tool
• using the Inner Signal name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or official affiliation

Brand and written content

The license does not give permission to use the Inner Signal name, logo, visual identity, domain names, or brand presentation as your own.

Those remain protected.

The same applies to articles, guides, long-form explanations, marketing pages, and written teaching material unless a separate license is clearly stated.

In plain English:

You can inspect and noncommercially learn from the source.

You cannot copy the whole identity and sell it as your own.

Why not hide the source?

Because hiding the source would make the app less trustworthy.

A self-hypnosis tool should be inspectable. Users should be able to see whether it is trying to create dependency, push breakthroughs, confirm false memories, bypass crisis, or make claims it cannot support.

The official Inner Signal version is not valuable because the source is hidden.

It is valuable because it is maintained, tested, improved, documented, and connected to a real feedback loop.

Paid access supports:

• continued development
• safety testing
• better session flows
• mobile polish
• documentation
• translations
• edge-case review
• updated guides
• survey and feedback tools
• future versions of the trainer

You are not paying because the method is secret.

You are paying to support the maintained version.

Inner Signal is provided as an educational self-practice tool.

It is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, diagnosis, or a substitute for a qualified professional.

The source being visible does not guarantee that the app is safe for every person or every situation. Self-hypnosis and inner-child work are not appropriate for every state, every history, or every moment.

Use judgment. Go slowly. Stop if you feel destabilized. Get real human help when needed.
