Terms & Disclaimer
Terms and disclaimer for Inner Signal: educational use only, not therapy, not medical care, not crisis support, adults only, source-visible software, and safety boundaries.
Effective date: June 29, 2026
By using Inner Signal, you agree to use it as an educational self-practice tool only.
Inner Signal is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, diagnosis, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
Use it slowly, carefully, and at your own discretion.
What Inner Signal is
Inner Signal is a self-hypnosis and inner-child reparenting trainer for adults.
It has two modes:
Guided self-hypnosis — a structured inward session with induction, sensory narrowing, inner signal, listening, integration, and exit.
Inner-child reparenting, no trance — gentle conversational inner work without hypnotic induction or deepening.
The goal is simple:
- one phrase
- one body signal
- one small action
Inner Signal is designed for smaller, slower, safer practice — not forced breakthroughs.
What Inner Signal is not
Inner Signal is not:
- therapy
- hypnotherapy
- medical care
- psychiatric care
- diagnosis
- crisis support
- emergency support
- addiction treatment
- trauma therapy
- legal advice
- a substitute for a qualified clinician
- a replacement for real human help
No use of Inner Signal creates a therapist-client, doctor-patient, counselor-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.
No emergency use
Do not use Inner Signal as your main support in an emergency.
If you may harm yourself or someone else, feel unsafe, are in immediate danger, are being threatened, are experiencing severe panic, psychosis, mania, severe dissociation, withdrawal risk, or urgent medical symptoms, stop using the app and contact real human help.
Use local emergency services, a crisis line, a trusted person near you, or urgent medical care.
Inner Signal cannot physically intervene, assess your full situation, or keep you safe in real time.
Adults only
Inner Signal is intended for adults.
If you are under 18, do not use Inner Signal for adult-style self-hypnosis, inner-child processing, or emotional self-treatment.
Use youth-appropriate support and trusted adults.
Use caution with trauma and memory
Do not use Inner Signal to force trauma memories, recover memories, relive traumatic scenes, or prove that something happened.
A body sensation is not proof of a past event.
A vivid image is not evidence by itself.
A feeling can be meaningful without being treated as factual history.
If trauma material destabilizes you, work with a qualified professional.
Use caution with altered states
Self-hypnosis, meditation, breathwork, and inner-child work can affect people differently.
Use caution if you have a history of:
- psychosis
- mania
- severe dissociation
- severe panic
- complex trauma
- self-harm risk
- addiction crisis
- withdrawal risk
- neurological symptoms
- medical conditions affected by altered-state practices
If you are unsure whether this is appropriate for you, ask a qualified professional before using it.
Do not practice in unsafe situations
Do not use guided self-hypnosis while:
- driving
- operating machinery
- caring for someone who needs your full attention
- in immediate danger
- in a public setting where you cannot safely close your eyes
- in a situation where becoming deeply inward could make you unsafe
Use no-trance mode or wait until you are somewhere safer.
No guarantees
Inner Signal does not guarantee any specific result.
It does not guarantee healing, symptom relief, emotional breakthrough, nervous-system regulation, trauma resolution, behavior change, spiritual insight, or mental health improvement.
Some sessions may feel useful.
Some may feel blank.
Some may feel fake.
Some may bring up discomfort.
Nothing here is a promise of outcome.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Inner Signal.
That includes choosing:
- whether to begin a session
- whether to continue
- whether to stop
- whether to seek outside help
- whether to use the app again
- whether the practice is appropriate for your current state
If something feels destabilizing, stop.
Return to the room.
Use real human support if needed.
Bounded guidance
Inner Signal is designed to stay within a specific method.
It should not give broad life advice, medical advice, legal advice, diagnosis, or instructions outside the self-hypnosis and inner-child reparenting container.
If something is outside scope, the safer response is to narrow, ground, stop, or point toward appropriate support.
Source-visible software
The preview app source is visible because self-hypnosis tools should not be black boxes.
Source visibility allows users, practitioners, developers, and skeptics to inspect the structure, safety boundaries, and session logic.
Source visibility does not guarantee safety, correctness, suitability, security, or freedom from errors.
The software may contain bugs, omissions, limitations, or design flaws.
Use judgment.
